About the Role:
KUMMUNI is seeking a dynamic and resilient Business Developer (Expansion Manager Trainee) with at least 5 years of experience and a passion for finding advantages in challenging situations. In this role, you will be trained directly by the CEO and the Property Acquisition Advisor (a member of the board) during your first six months, learning the nuances of market expansion and real estate strategy. You will play a critical role in identifying property opportunities and supporting KUMMUNI’s growth into new regions. This position requires regular travel and the ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
As an Expansion Manager Trainee, you will focus on analyzing market trends, understanding property needs, and strategizing our expansion efforts, all while regularly traveling to new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify property needs in new markets by analyzing trends, tenant preferences, and local economic conditions.
- Find advantages in challenging or competitive market environments to drive KUMMUNI’s strategic expansion.
- Work closely with the Property Acquisition Manager to align market insights with acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with senior management, providing strategic recommendations directly to the CEO.
- Conduct thorough market research and economic analysis to inform property decisions.
- Manage multiple projects while traveling regularly to scout potential markets and evaluate opportunities firsthand.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, with strong market analysis and economic understanding.
- Proven ability to find strategic advantages in challenging market situations.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with experience in identifying property needs in different regions.
- Willingness and enthusiasm for regular travel and adapting to new environments.
- Ability to work under high pressure and in fast-paced settings.
- Fluent in at least two languages, with English being mandatory; additional language proficiency is a plus.
Key Requirements:
- Self-starter with a strong business acumen and the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
- Comfortable with regular travel and adapting to different markets and environments.
- Able to handle stress and multiple priorities in fast-moving scenarios.
- Fluent in English and at least one other language.
